Bhutan in particular offers absolute privacy — your celebration will never compete with crowds. Our Thimphu-based team has arranged intimate weddings, milestone anniversaries and family gatherings for over 20 years, handling every detail from sacred blessings to the final farewell dinner.
We specialise in intimate celebrations — typically from a private couple's elopement up to gatherings of around 60–80 guests. This scale allows us to secure the finest venues, offer genuinely personal service, and preserve the sense of exclusivity that makes a Himalayan celebration special. Larger groups can be discussed and are subject to venue availability and permissions.
Options range from luxury lodges and boutique heritage stays to private estates, riverside settings, and — with the right permissions — culturally significant dzong and monastery courtyards for blessing ceremonies. We match the setting to the tone of your celebration, whether that's a grand valley banquet or an intimate candlelit dinner for two.
Absolutely — and many couples find these the most moving part of their journey. We can arrange traditional blessings by monks, butter-lamp ceremonies, local music and mask dances, and auspicious date-setting with an astrologer. Every ritual is arranged respectfully and woven into your celebration in a way that feels authentic rather than staged.
For weddings and larger celebrations we recommend beginning the conversation 9–12 months ahead, which gives us the best access to premium venues, favourable dates, and the finest vendors. Intimate elopements and smaller gatherings can often be arranged on shorter timelines — speak to our team and we'll advise honestly on what's achievable.
